SchoolYearReady is a service operated by Thousandpath LLC, a California limited liability company.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using SchoolYearReady (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to create an account and agree to these Terms on your own behalf. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms. The Service is not intended for, and may not be used by, children under 13 years of age.

3. Description of Service

SchoolYearReady provides tools to convert school calendar documents (PDFs, images) into digital calendar formats using artificial intelligence technology. The Service allows users to upload documents, extract calendar events, and export them to various formats.

Beta Services: We may designate certain enhancements or features of the Service as "Beta" or "Experimental". Such Beta Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind. You understand that Beta Services may contain bugs, errors, or other defects and that your use of them is at your sole risk.

4. No Affiliation with Schools; Verify Official Sources

SchoolYearReady is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to any school, school district, or educational institution. Names and materials you upload remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to provide the Service to you.

The calendar data produced by the Service is a convenience aid and is not an official record. The calendar published by your school or district is always the authoritative source. You are responsible for verifying all dates and events against your school's official calendar before relying on them, and we are not responsible for missed events, scheduling conflicts, or other consequences arising from reliance on the Service.

5. User Accounts

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process your documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files or extracted calendar data. You represent that you have the right to upload any content you submit and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party.

7. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party artificial intelligence services (including Google's Gemini AI) to process and extract information from uploaded documents. By using our Service, you acknowledge that your uploaded content may be processed by these third-party services in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Upload malicious files or content
  • Use the Service to process confidential documents without proper authorization

9. Upload Limits

To ensure optimal service performance, the following limits apply to file uploads:

  • Maximum file size: 10 MB per file
  • Maximum total upload: 20 MB
  • Maximum files per upload: 5 files
  • Supported formats: PDF, JPEG, PNG, and other image formats

10. Fees

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce fees for the Service or for certain features in the future. If we do, we will give you advance notice, and any paid features will be clearly identified before you incur a charge.

11. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Thousandpath LLC and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

AI DISCLAIMER: THE SERVICE USES ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO EXTRACT DATA FROM DOCUMENTS. ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IS PROBABILISTIC AND MAY PRODUCE INACCURATE, INCOMPLETE, OR MISSING RESULTS. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING AND VERIFYING THE ACCURACY OF ALL EXTRACTED DATA, DATES, AND EVENTS AGAINST YOUR SCHOOL'S OFFICIAL CALENDAR BEFORE RELYING ON THEM. WE DO NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CALENDAR EXTRACTION RESULTS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THOUSANDPATH LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thousandpath LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

15. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of California.
